Ways to Reset the Engine Light on a Mazda B2200

    Put in your safety goggles and cloth operate gloves.

    Open your B2200's hood and try to find the battery. Attached to it are two cables; one will be the unfavorable cable car diagnostic tool. On the end with the cable attached for the battery is a clamp using a nut on it. Loosen that nut working with the end wrench to disconnect the unfavorable cable from the battery. Secure it to ensure that it can not come back into speak to together with the battery.

    Slip the cable clamp off the negative terminal, taking care not to let it touch the positive side on the battery. Wait at least five minutes.

    Put the negative battery cable clamp back on the unfavorable battery terminal and tighten the nut.
    5

    Put the key into the ignition and start the engine auto diagnostic. Appear on the instrument panel to make sure the Check Engine light has turned off.
